Rammed Aggregate Piers Provide a Construction Solution for Ground Improvement | Crain Construction Company, Inc

(This is the second in a series of articles about unique construction challenges and the solutions used to complete projects on time and on budget.)Soil stabilization can be an expensive and time-consuming part of site development on a construction project, yet it is often essential for a redevelopment site. Crain Construction encountered weak soil with unsuitable material while doing site preparation for a new 23, 000-square-foot building that will house office, training, warehouse and service space for Tencarva Machinery Company, a distributor specializing in pumps, liquid process and custom-designed systems for industrial and municipal customers. Its a much quicker and more economical solution for soil stabilization, said Mike Gribble, senior project manager for Crain Construction.
