The Gorman Rupp Ultra V Series is most commonly used for heavy duty solids and slurries. They have significantly higher head capabilities than Super T Series® and 10 Series® pumps. If a clog occurs, it can be removed easily through the coverplate opening without disturbing piping or using any special tools. Available in a variety of pump station configurations or stand-alone in 3”, 4” and 6” sizes.
COOL FACT
The Ultra V Series solids-handling, self-priming centrifugal trash pumps offer up to three times the pressure and up to 60% more performance.
The Gorman Rupp Super T Series – most common used in waste handling applications in industries such as steel and paper mills, mining operations, food processing plants, power plants, automotive factories, tanneries and wineries. Pumps are equipped with superior solids handling capability and a large inspection cover to access pump internals for service or blockage removal.
COOL FACT
Super T Series self-priming centrifugal wastewater pump has been the world benchmark for this technology since 1963!
Gorman-Rupp has taken the concept of the solids-handling pump to a higher level of performance. For installations where nuisance clogging is affecting up-time and maintenance costs, Eradicator is designed specifically for today’s “new sewage”, sanitary wipes, plastic bags, feathers, hair, sludge and all other types of debris.
Eradicator Solids Management System includes: (1) a new, patented, lightweight inspection cover; (2) an innovative back cover plate incorporating an obstruction free flow path; (3) an aggressive self-cleaning wear plate including laser cut notches and grooves in combination with a revolutionary “tooth” designed to constantly and effectively clear the eye of the impeller.
For new Super T Series applications, complete pump units are available in cast iron or Gorman-Rupp Hard Iron configurations. For existing Super T Series installations, upgrade kits are available including everything you need to make field conversions simple.
Gorman-Rupp will display the Eradicator Solids Management System at WEFTEC in Chicago, so make plans to visit Booth #1400 and see this exciting new product in action. In the upcoming days, there will be subsequent e-mails announcing the schedule for distributor webinar sessions. Space is limited, so get registered right away.
